A 30+ year career under the curatorial guide of Steven Stapleton has seen Nurse With Wound collaborate with a highly respected troop of free thinkers including David Tibet (Current 93), William Bennett (Whitehouse) and Andrew McKenzie (Hafler Trio).
Nurse With Wound perform a wide variety of improvised, outsider music with one of the consistent touchstones being musique concrète. Stapleton's career has drawn influence from a vast list of artists including everything from Frank Zappa to John Cage as documented by the infamous Nurse With Wound list accompanying the early albums.
The current Nurse With Wound lineup includes:
